For several years now, Max has been a regular speaker at Oxford Brookes University, delivering scheduled talks on Autism and Neurodivergence.
However, in the last couple of years, he’s added a special twist: a surprise appearance during the online sessions where students least expect it!
Max shared his excitement, saying, “These surprise sessions are always a highlight for me. The students first watch a video of me discussing Autism from over a decade ago, and then they see me live, talking about my journey and experiences now. I think the element of surprise is fantastic and it really sparks interesting conversations. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come as a community.”
The latest surprise speech took place on February 11th, 2025, and was once again an engaging and interactive experience.
Due to data protection regulations, the session was not filmed. However, students left with a renewed understanding of the progress made in both Max's personal journey and the broader conversation around Autism.
Max continues to be an Inspiration to many, using his platform to advocate for Neurodivergent individuals and raise awareness in new, creative ways.
