Max is incredibly excited to finally share some news about a project that he has been very proud to be involved with.
Following the announcement from Rebecca Taylor and Amelia Hewitt, Max is delighted to reveal that he will be contributing to their brand-new book, Resilient You: An Agony Aunts’ Guide to Keeping it Together, which is due to be released on 12 May.
The book follows on from Rebecca and Amelia’s hugely successful first book, Securely Yours: An Agony Aunts Guide to Surviving Cyber, which was released in April 2025. Since then, the book has opened doors to speaking opportunities, their podcast and many other exciting experiences.
This time, Rebecca and Amelia are turning their attention to something that affects all of us: resilience.
Life can throw unexpected challenges at us. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, and there can be moments when we feel overwhelmed, tested or simply unsure about what comes next. Resilient You explores how we can adapt, grow and keep moving forward when life puts us under pressure.
Max is particularly excited to be contributing because resilience is something He has experienced throughout his own journey. Through his experiences of Autism, Employment, Advocacy, Public Speaking and Navigating the challenges that life can bring, He has learnt that resilience doesn't necessarily mean never struggling. Sometimes it means acknowledging that things are difficult, finding the right support and continuing to move forward.
Max's contribution will feature his own experiences and perspective, alongside those of other contributors and subject-matter experts.
Max is really looking forward to sharing part of his story and hopefully giving readers something they can relate to, learn from or take away for themselves.
Max said "Being asked to contribute to a book like this is a huge honour. I’ve always believed in the importance of sharing lived experience, because you never know when something you've been through might help somebody else feel less alone. I’m also incredibly grateful to Rebecca and Amelia for giving me the opportunity to be part of this project. There is something quite special about seeing your experiences become part of a book that could potentially sit on someone's shelf and, hopefully, make a difference to them.
So, 12 May — I’ll be counting down with everyone else!
