The charity flight was a deeply personal mission for Max, undertaken in memory of his beloved Granddad who passed away in 2023.
Flying over his hometown, Max dedicated the event to his Grandad, carrying his memory with him throughout the journey.
Despite feeling unwell near the end of the flight, Max’s determination never wavered, demonstrating his commitment to honouring his Granddads legacy and supporting a cause close to his heart.
Max’s fundraising efforts have been met with overwhelming support from the community. The final amount raised exceeded £600, which will go to Parkinson's UK to help fund research and support services for those affected by the disease.
"I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and supported me," Max said. "Flying the plane was an amazing experience, even though I felt a bit ill near the end! It was all worth it to raise money for such an important cause. This was for my Grandad, and I know he would be proud."
Max also said "a full video will be out of the day, however here is a sneak peak!"
