Dr Jon Reid Mentions Max Ahead of Oxford Brookes University Inclusion Conference

Jon Reid has shared his excitement as preparations continue for the 14th Annual Inclusion Conference at Oxford Brookes University, giving a special mention to keynote speaker Max J Green ahead of the highly anticipated event.

In a recent update, Jon announced that plans are being finalised for #OBUINC26, themed "Beyond Labels", a conference dedicated to inspiring the next generation of teachers and exploring the best ways to support children and young people with individual access to learning needs.

Inspired by the legacy of the late Jonathan Bryan and his influential concept of "Profound and Multiple Access to Learning Difficulties," the conference will bring together leading voices from education, inclusion and advocacy.

Already confirmed as the morning keynote speaker, Max will open the conference before a series of workshops delivered by respected professionals from across the education and inclusion sectors. The event will conclude with an afternoon keynote from Stephen Unwin.

In his post, Jon Reid said he was "exceptionally excited" about the outstanding line-up of speakers, expressing his hope that each presenter would share their "must know" messages with the next generation of future teachers.

Max said he is honoured to be part of the conference and looks forward to sharing his experiences of growing up autistic, working across education, IT leadership, media and advocacy, and discussing the importance of creating truly inclusive environments that move beyond labels.

Hosted in association with the Oxford Brookes University Children and Young People Research Network, the conference promises to be an inspiring day centred on compassion, inclusion and empowering future educators.
