Max can say it was one of the biggest of honours of his life being Selina Man or Honour.
Max's Speech can be seen below.
"Hi All for those who don’t know me I am Max, The Man of Honor, and I am truly honored and humbled to be speaking on Selina and Alec's Special Day. When Selina asked me to be the Maid... I mean the Man of Honor, there were three things that went through my mind: "worry, shock, and breakdown." No, really, all joking aside, I was pleased, full of joy, and nervous because I know how long you have waited for this day, and I know how special this is.
Sadly, there were some stories Selina told me that I couldn't tell today, so due to this, I have no other option than to tell them anyway. Now, I have known Selina pretty much all my life. In fact, she was the first person to do a wrestling move on me as one day when we were kids. I annoyed her so much that she decided to pile-drive me onto concrete. I would say I didn't deserve it, but I probably did. This was when I learned how patient and kind Selina is.
During the build-up to the wedding, I wanted to learn more about Selina, so I asked her family about her. These are some of the words that were used: kind, caring, loving, and the two that made me laugh the most were fearless and an infuriating child. Selina’s Mum told me some stories about Selina, including one about how, when she was little, she would walk up to anyone and start a conversation with the first line always being 'Ello lady.' She then told me that if you left the gate open, Selina would be down at the rec before you could blink, and no matter how many times or how long you called her, you wouldn't hear from her. Then, she would turn up like nothing had happened. However, the story I loved the most, which Selina's Mum told me, was when Selina's Mum got married. Selina was there, and on the first day of their honeymoon, she walked straight into the swimming pool and jumped in the deep end fully clothed, with her Dad and Uncle quickly following, despite the fact that Selina couldn't swim. Her Mum's words were, 'I nearly had a heart attack. I think it is clear to everyone that you are dearly loved by your family and they are so proud of you.
Now Myself and Selina haven't always been best friends, I have a feeling we might not be after this speech, but we really connected in 2019, just before the dreaded pandemic, which was a tough time for everyone. I would say the pandemic brought us closer together, and our relationship grew. But I have to tell everybody that throughout my whole life, there was always one question I would ask Selina, even when we weren't best friends and were just simply acquaintances, and that was "how is Alec?" Now I have to say, I believe there was one occasion as kids I asked this, and long story short, I ended up being Selina's partner for about 1 hour... she decided she couldn't put up with me... not much has changed.
However, the one constant in my life when it has come to Selina is Alec. He has always been Selina's one. I see the way she lights up when she talks about him, I see the way she smiles, and I can see how much she loves him. And I would be remiss if I didn't say what a great partner and husband she has found in Alec. I know you will and do make her very happy.
Myself and Selina have been there for each other during incredibly tough times. For instance, I never forget when she called me in tears because "Supernatural" had come to an end, and I will never forget the time I called her nearly in tears as the WWE's Undertaker had just retired. Really tough times.
In all seriousness, though, there are some people who are not here today who I know would be so proud of Selina and Alec and would have loved nothing more than to have been here with them to celebrate their special day. So just before I end (as I can talk for England), let us not only congratulate Selina and Alec but also remember those who are not here today. With that, I say this to Selina, not to get all cheesy, but you are not only my best friend, but I mean this from the bottom of my heart, you are the sister I never had, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am always here for you. I am so happy for you and Alec, and I love you. Wishing you and Alec a very happy and successful loving marriage. Here's to Selina and Alec!"
